I'm like the digital Lorax, I speak for the binary trees.
It's been a pleasure. Hopefully, our paths cross again. You always seemed like my kind of people, and this confirms it.

It's for your own good, really. We're just saving you from yourself...

Got it

As a sign in our city said, "I like cooking my family and pets. Use commas. Don't be a psycho"

And, yes, it does exist. I'll try to get a picture next time I'm near it...

Maybe the good things were the friends you made along the way...

That's why I'm more than happy to help. I love game dev and monogame, and I love F#. I just never tried both at the same time.

Speaking of which, I do know the monogame engine inside and out. If you get tripped up on something, hit me up.

I'm just messing with you. I started my public speaking career talking and XNA, and then monogame. It just jumps out to me because I was always like "cool, graphics adapter is working, now change that to black."

Now, just need to get rid of the CornflourBlue...

I always have a backpack, but nowhere has accommodation for backpacks, so I never noticed the difference in an airport.
October 17, 2025 at 8:34 PM
Most airports were designed back in the days when everyone checked their bags, and have never been really updated. I agree someone should look into that, but it makes sense from a historical perspective. I ALWAYS check my bags, so I've never really noticed.

While I typically wouldn't disagree with that point, I have reason to believe this one actually worked. Of course, time will tell.

It's not that it couldn't be done. It just couldn't be done in C# with the current compiler. The compiler would have to tokenize //?
The reason something like PostSharp can do it on attributes is because attributes are tokenized. Even doing the replacement as a pre-processor, attributes have meaning

I will say SOMA is awesome, and it totally sticks the landing (and I won't say anything else on that.)

If you want a short little unnerving walking simulator, I highly recommend The Park. It's about 2 hours long and kinda drags for the first hour and a half, but it pays off in the third act.

When I got divorced, it was pretty close to 20 years. I was convinced afterwards that I would be single forever. But, life has its own plans, and now I have an absolutely wonderful partner. Give it time. Remember who you are. That's what will attract someone else.
October 6, 2025 at 9:37 PM
Yup, just went through that. It sucks. You have to relearn how to you. It gets better with time.

Welcome to Costco. I love you...
