If fuel economy standards were the only thing that got rid of station wagons, our roads wouldn’t be filled with SUVs.

But if you're comparing, you need to include taxes for both, and the taxes on $6.99 are going to be higher than the taxes on 0.5*$12.99.
(This really shouldn't bother me, their basic point is accurate, but my neurodivergent brain just doesn't let this sort of thing go so easily 😅)

How I know I’m neurodivergent: I’m simultaneously outraged over that trickery while also annoyed that 1/2 of 12.99 cannot end up being one cent more than 6.99 😅

Next up, an Imperial version of the Venator-class Star Destroyer. It's an interesting evolution of the Venator into the design aesthetic of the Empire.

Eh, I'm not sure that's a really valid analysis. Until a few days ago "the establishment candidate" hadn't entered the race at all. People were desperate for someone who could beat Collins.
Janet Mills won her last election for Governor pretty handily, so that changes things in that race.

The AHL has a "veteran limit" as to who can be dressed for a game, but there's no limit on the roster.
WB/S already has to scratch players every game due to the veteran limit.

In terms of the toxins - well, those certainly don't help, but that really comes in well behind the consolidation of Tech into a few companies for why Silicon Valley has had such a big culture shift over the last 20 years.
