i think others here need to understand that some just Cannot Alt Text Good ™
if there's a post w/out alt text, offer to write it for them and let them edit it into the post ~~(and then if they refuse just steal the post)~~ :neofox_floof:

i think any tool for auto-generated alt text, the UI should very much encourage **actually editing that text** to make sure it's actually accurate, and especially to remove unnecessary details.
