It’s more like self help advice. I’ve watched many teen boys make poor choices that ripple through to their options in college and beyond. The world is more competitive. Those choices matter. Sure, there are many reasons boys may not be doing well. None of that says doors are closed to them.

Thank goodness you are here to point this out.

My son has worked his ass off since high school and has landed himself at a top 10 university with coveted internships to boot. He’s absolutely crushing it and it’s his grinding that did it. The door is still very much open for boys. They just have to hit the books and work for it.
