I definitely did not have tsunami on my calendar for today. When I was little, I used to have frequent nightmares about tidal waves. Like Deep Impact level, wipe out the Statue Liberty type. Thought they were irrational even then, but maybe not? 🤔

I keep seeing this reference to public bathrooms as women's "private spaces" and I just do not understand it. Strangers are strangers even when they're women! We're not communing in there for hours at a time, talking about perimenopause and who's getting divorced and shaving our legs.

Rewatched Transhood last night. A+ film showcasing trans children in conservative communities. Interesting how adults with causes are out there fighting for visibility & these kids seem to seek the opposite, wanting-as all kids do-to blend in & feel like everyone else. www.hbo.com/movies/trans...

So, in this post-election pre-dystopian reality we’re living in, I’m coming to terms with a couple of new revelations in my family. One is that my oldest (17M) is - while not a Trump supporter-open to “hearing him out” and “curious to see how he does.” And that MAGA brand has some cool factor to it.

I just want to say that my relatives in my native country look at us like, "you get vaccines for free and you...turn them down?" Which roughly translates into "what the ever-loving fuck is wrong with you???"
