What’s “rude?” I’m fortunate my situation is better than most. I support multiple non-profit organizations (American Cancer Society, St Jude, etc), conduct food drives for a local food pantry, sponsor meet & greet for local Dems at my business. Participate in protests. Regularly write my rep. You?

I served Army 85-88 and separated just before my unit deployed to Panama. Also worked 12 yrs as civilian for Army & AF.
IMPO the targeting of boats off Venezuela is illegal and I would refuse to push the button and request transfer.

As a vet and a retired 31-yr federal employee, I still hold myself to that oath. Domestic enemies took that oath, but clearly they never intended to honor it although it includes “…that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; “

Unfortunately, you are correct. Too few of the lower ranks have the balls to go against their “leaders,” no matter how egregious the violations they are directed to commit.

They had better be fully unmasked, easily identified, and bearing a warrant signed by a judge in good standing if they come for me. All others will be identified by the coroner.
