I fault no one for being put off, but they built their own datasets from hired voice actors who explicitly consent to it IN ADDITION to normal voice work.

It's so disingenuous too, considering how much steps embark took to be as ethical as one could make it in Arc Raiders, which i doubt would be the norm if AI actually took hold in the industry

Battlefield isn't a milsim. It's an arcade shooter that emulates the feeling of one. You are right about the overly complicated movement tech not meshing bf's design goals, though.
