The attached article describes the events that took place in Chicago earlier this month. A similar event occurred this past Saturday while children were preparing for a Halloween event. In both cases the children and community members were exposed to tear gas.

If it is true that gov. employees are not essential, let them leave their jobs and truly shut down the government. Will we see Mike Johnson in the control towers? Will the Kristi Noem rescue swiming to save a drowning sailor? Will we see R. Kennedy in an emergency room caring for the sick? We won't.

As we need to focus on the Epstein files, I worry that the Epstein files are a distraction. Trump has imposed federal rule in D.C and LA. This an unprecedented and unwarranted intrusion into local sovereignty. Both of these cities are centers of opposition. This feels like the precursor to a coup.
