Sorry to be a Debbie Downer, but capitalism ain't going anywhere. And there sure as hell is no way to adapt to a hothouse Earth - that's magical thinking. Life on Earth is f**ked, but hopefully some organism will squeeze through the bottleneck! That might be wishful thinking too though.
