We are thrilled to report that after sustained international advocacy, including a ruling from the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention on the petition we filed on his behalf, Igor was released in September as part of a mass amnesty.

Leaders must raise concerns about these individuals' treatment with their respective govts at #CMF46. All member states must reaffirm their commitments to OIF's mandate & to upholding intl law obligations not to use detention as a political tool

Abdoul began a hunger strike in August that left him hospitalized. Hopeful Togo’s govt might finally release him, he ended it in late Sept. But last week, he resumed the hunger strike, joined this time by ~25 others protesting their arbitrary detention. icilome.com/2025/11/togo...
