Because I appreciate my opinion to be challenged through respectful dialogue from those who oppose me. So far, this platform has the most members with opposing views willing to engage and respectfully debate. I believe that is a healthy way to broaden one’s perspective.

For clarification: President Trump does not plan to stop the stream of “federal aid” to the States for public education. He just wants to hand the responsibility of the DOE back to the States for them to execute to better serve their constituents.

He does have the best track record for following through on his promises from the campaign trail. At least on things within the power of the office of POTUS. I believe he will stand by his promises again. But as you accurately stated, time will tell.

The real delusion is that Project 2025 will actually become a reality. That’s why I’ve discredited it from its conception and so has President Trump, BTW.

That is great to know! I share with everyone that I can. I do hope you’re right on this gender affirming issue, because the alternative would be very sad. (Like Clementine’s case) If you have some resources to send my way for my education I will look into it further. Please share.

I can never claim to know what you’ve had to go through. There is Joy that passes all understanding through Jesus. If you’ve never had the chance to experience that, I can attest that nothing is better. He loves every person and wants a relationship with you if you’ll open your heart to Him.

This all started with my post of “The golden rule”. I treat all people the same. (Including those who are trans) I share the love and joy Jesus offers all. (John 3:16) I do think your numbers are skewed though. Please take some time to read that article.

This article cites many studies you may be familiar with. You ask, why I’m hesitant to change my position on this? It’s because I can clearly see that we don’t know the lasting repercussions of this new treatment philosophy. “More harm than good.” Not the other way around.

Why do we as a society think that individuals can’t get a tattoo, or vote or join the military until 18yrs old. Or that they can’t buy alcohol or tobacco until 21. Or rent a car until 24? Then why would we let kids make a forever life changing decision like change their sex? They need mental care.

No doubt there are some radical folks who assisted in creating Project 2025. The kind of discrimination you’re talking about would never make it through the Senate or SCOTUS. If adults want to be transgender, fine. Just don’t force it on kids.
