Teufelshund, former Hill staffer, and never Trumper.

Gangster states and the Middle East are my bag, baby.
I wonder if it's as bad as the Total Recall remake.

The U.S. was also prosecuting warcrimes and at least attempting to build a democracy.

More like a Russian asset.

AR ussian asset says what?

Right-wing influencers is far too kind a label. More like agents of influence.

Poleznyee Duraki and Pyetukhi are also accurate.

Looks like Tucker Carlson is still a pyetukh who sleeps by the parasha.

I say no Communists, no Jew haters, and democracy is nonnegotiable.

There are probably a few more hard nos that make sense, but those three are a good start.

An organization who thinks the Nazis were the good guys in WWII opposes honoring American soldiers?

Noooooooo..........I don't believe you.
November 8, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Gee, what could possibly go wrong?
November 7, 2025 at 8:26 PM
Sounds like Make the CCP Great Again!
November 7, 2025 at 8:15 PM
No, lots of people just like to focus on the mishaps and "alleged mishaps" instead of the success stories.
November 7, 2025 at 7:31 PM
Actually, American intervention has been pretty damn good since 1939. Winning WWII, the Cold War, and establishing the U.S.-led international order were all very good things.

If the Trump administration runs the U.S.-led order into the ground, the world will miss it. That's for sure.
November 7, 2025 at 7:27 PM
Actually, it's quite simple. You don't get to meaningfully advance any ideals if you don't win.

Plus, you could argue the U.S. has been hit and miss on human rights and democracy. However, the USSR, Russia, the PRC, and rest of the Axis of Authoritarianism are batting zero. Zero.
November 7, 2025 at 7:07 PM
Egypt still beats Assad's Syria. The Communists also did worse than Indonesia. More than once.

Plus, there's a little thing called national security that's actually a big concern.
November 7, 2025 at 6:49 PM
Except for the fact Iran was never a democracy, Mossadegh showed authoritarian inclinations, and the Iranian Constitution gave the Shah the power to fire him.

There were also legit concerns about Mossadegh and mismanagement and a little thing called NATO.
November 7, 2025 at 6:32 PM
That's called real politik. Plus, the dictators America worked with were typically less bad than their alternatives (Shah vs. Khomeini, Egypt vs Assad's Syria, Communism, etc).

On top of that, the U.S. did achieve some success in guiding dictatorships towards democracy, most notably South Korea.
November 7, 2025 at 6:18 PM
Except for the fact authoritarian and totalitarian states routinely threaten the world's security and create hundreds of problems the rest of the world has to deal with.

They also tend to be quite adept at things like mismanagement.
November 7, 2025 at 5:58 PM
Agreed. The U.S. has amateurs at the helm, and it must be remembered regimes like Maduro's tend to go out of their way to make reconstruction as difficult as possible.
November 7, 2025 at 5:43 PM
In fairness, Maduro is already doign a pretty good job of displacing his population into neighboring countries.

He's also down with the Axis of Authoritarianism.

Of course, the Trump admin is still not one I'd trust when it comes to regime change. Not even a little.

Just note that in 2024, voter turnout was 64.1% ... so fully ONE THIRD of registered US voters can't be bothered to vote .... even with early voting, mail-in voting, and same day voting.... compare that to say Germany who has 82% turnout on a single/ same-day vote. So stop complaining & just vote!!

Well, I won't deny giving one or two asshat cops the finger over the years. Maybe even three or four.

Not recommending anyone make that a habit, though.
