I realize that many folks are still pretty raw after the election and will probably remain raw the entire term. There is one basic truth though, as long as people can try to remain civil, we MUST be able to work with those across the aisle. Otherwise nothing will get done. The keyword here is CIVIL

So I got some mail from my medigap insurance plan stating next year's deductibles for Medicare and what the medigap plan will pay. Not surprising the deductibles are increasing but not by much. I don't do a Medicare advantage plan because there are things I can't use so I do things a la carte.

To all the world leaders: although you maintain the decorum and sensibility of great leadership that the position requires, I urge you to show Trump no mercy in ways that he can understand, such as making fun of him or just flat out ignoring him. Let him know there is no place at the table for him.

I wonder what would have happened if our education system was given the tools and the ability to teach kids how to think critically? I wasn't taught critical thinking until I was in GRAD SCHOOL! I think this is definitely something worth investigating.

Every time I see his name or hear his voice, I immediately think of any self-righteous authority figure you see in movies that eventually get their comeuppance in the end.
