For me I think the sad ending has to be meaningful. I think some games descend into nihilism and that's where they lose me.

I got to the confirmation page at target, got a confirmation email, and they cancelled it minutes later. I'd check to make sure they didn't do the same to you.

With how failure prone the original Switch joycons were, I hope they have sorted it out if they are asking $90USD for the Switch 2 version.
