So are you saying that there are no infinite chains? I would be surprised if there were none, especially since there are so many weird infinite cluster type structures.

As far as I can tell, Donglin Jiang first reported it:

It will crystallize in very different synthesis conditions reliably and gives very high surface areas >>1500m2/g and it does not really care about the activation conditions.
