Looking forward to presenting on the use of aerial imagery and US technical expertise in the selection of the site for Brazil's new capital, Brasília, in the early 1950s. The panel also has presentations on Guatemala and the Amazon. #AHA2025 #skystorians

Undergrad students in my Digital History class analyzed the loss of commuter rail stations in Chicago between 1928 and 2019. They found that areas gaining stations were more white, while those losing stations became increasingly African American.
