Disappointed but not deterred. We will continue to call on federal legislators to say no to Medicaid cuts and other barriers to coverage. Virginia families are counting on them!

The Senate also removed this misguided provision introduced by the governor that would harm localities that don’t engage in costly and burdensome detentions to assist ICE.

As we head into 2025 with many risks for children's access to Medicaid/CHIP some good news. With recent
CMS Section 1115 waiver approvals there are now 9 states moving forward on providing continuous coverage for children from birth to age 6!

On the surface, it seems like it would help low-paid workers, but without strong protections from abuse, it could open up a tax loophole the rich could use to further get out of paying their #FairShare of taxes. 1/
