Boston based. Life long love of photography, but it’s not my day job. I shoot anything that catches eye.
I have a few spots close to home for those time when you can’t be out shooting all day. #infrared #infraredphotography #720nm #kolarivision #nikon #z6ii

This tree just caught my eye. I’ve tried processing it to get the feeling I had when I first took the picture. I think this is as close as I’ll get.

Tried to get out and capture some snow before it’s all gone. Found an interesting old bridge up in New Hampshire.

My wife is so patient with me when it comes to shooting flowers in the wild. This roses from Ireland was so vibrant I had to convert it to black-and-white.

I've been going through old hard drives, found a few XP2 scans from 20 years ago. Back then my job needed me to tour the Intermountain West and I spent some amazing time in Yellowstone

Possibly the most colorful sunrise I ever witnessed. Bear in mind I had to take the saturation slider down a bit in order to make it believable.

And to think that we were about to give up, as the sky seemed too cloudy, but at the last moment... boom!

My Borage image was awarded 2nd place in the Ultraviolet category of Kolari's biannual photography contest, Life in Another Light.

Check out the winning entries across all optical spectra categories (UV – Visible – IR) – there's some incredibly cool stuff here.

A few more IR photos from this past holiday. The Kolari clip in filters are the perfect for this type of work.

To get things started here is some of the photography I’ve been playing with lately. I had my Nikon Z6 ii converted to full spectrum by @spencerscamera.bsky.social and it’s been a blast shooting infrared. #infrared #720nm #OBX #landscape #kolarivision #Nikon #bodieisland
