Did it for my masters and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a job out of it, but it was one of the most enthralling years of my life.

I tended to lean towards constructivism as a theory, as it focuses on contexts and the importance of individuals and ideologies in how they affect IR related concepts. It avoids much of the predeterminism that older theories are prone to that I disliked.

I feel the new Corbyn party (who couldn't even launch with a damn name) will only accomplish splitting the Green vote. While they will focus on issues surrounding inequality that resonate with many Brits, they are atrocious communicators and the press will constantly attack them.

This point in time is crucial and highly unique as Syria is free to remake its own society largely without foreign interference. Thus while anything can happen, I think it's important to stay optimistic and hopeful, to allow the chance for something better.
