I tried but I can’t. But just like you can filibuster some judges but not SCOTUS nominees anymore, they set different standards for different roles.

I said cabinet nominees. That’s not a cabinet position. The rules are different.

I don’t think you can place a hold on cabinet nominees. Only certain things are subject to that.

Not months, no, they could slow things down for sure, but that wouldn’t block anything and it wouldn’t take months.

Raising awareness of the insanity which about the most power they have to do about anything, what exactly do you expect them to do?
January 29, 2025 at 3:57 AM
And how exactly do you find the 50 other Senate votes to do that?

How exactly is he supposed to block his nominees?

Source on the RFK thing? I’m very skeptical to say the least.

He’s raising awareness, which is about the biggest thing he has the power to do about it. What would you have him do?

“I don’t know the answer, and I don’t know how anything works, but I demand someone else come up with a magical solution”

The country elected an irresponsible nut job Republican president, a republican house in the Republican Senate. There are some small things Dems can do but not a whole lot.

So instead of voting for someone who will vote against most of his nominees, you would stay home or vote third party and thereby assist in electing someone who would vote for 100% of his nominees?

Sounds like the logic that got us Trump again.

I guess AI bots don’t know you can’t do that.
