My pot of mini hibiscus n impatiens in the house. I a dahlia n a star jasmine cuttings in the pot but they didn't grow.

Raining here for 2 days n I feel the same, dreading that time. 😔
Last yr, we had a Xmas camellia blooming after Thanksgiving right thru Feb but it died due to waterlogged pot.
This camellia n they are not cheap.

So Regal.

My 25+ yr old Queen Emma Lily/ giant crinum lily is blooming soon! It never fails to bloom after we take it inside the house in fall. It doesn't bloom outside anymore.

My favorite is this black rice dessert- black rice cooked in water, brown sugar and coconut milk simmer until really soft and oatmeal like texture. Served with thick coconut milk with a inch of salt in it.

Thanks Mary and the open space is basically our dog park. It's an oval grassy lawn n I had 3 rows of strawberries around it and other plants behind the rows. Not much would grow under those trees except for bearded irises in spring . In spring my backyard is alive..ha.

Tumeric n black pepper tea half cup left from last night. A tsp of tumeric powder n a bit of black pepper into a mug of boiling water n steeped fo 5 - 10 mins. Helps easing aches n pain from gardening n whatnots. Lemon ginger tea is gross but my daughter sent me 10 boxes so I just drink it ..ha😅
