But you get what he’s really saying here right? That all the other NATO members no longer trust the US so they’re revitalizing the connections between all the other members. By necessity, the other NATO members are upping their game. It’s a major dig at the US but Trump won’t realize it.

I don’t want anyone to suffer. I want them to learn and understand, and unfortunately suffering might be the only thing that will cause that to happen.

And this could mean undocumented people won’t seek medical care, or will keep their kids out of school.
