New England girl living in a PDX world. Pop culture to politics.
This is me too. I read fast and for entertainment so I don’t tend to retain my memories of books unless it’s by one of my fave authors.

Former New Englander here…while I initially scoffed at snow removal efforts after moving here, I now fully agree that the hunker down approach is the best plan for PDX.

Be careful what you wish for. The universe has a strange way of delivering.

All of a Kind Family about five little girls growing up in an Orthodox Jewish in the early 1900s New York. No one I know seems to have read this series. Perfect for kids who liked Little House or Anne of Green Gables.

Middle. I like having the option of looking forward and back for seats or space.

I’m in an egg CSA and pay $6/dz directly to the farmer. He delivers weekly from the coast to PDX.

Also, completely agree with your baking tip. I always ignored this step but during the height of the pandemic, I started bringing eggs to room temp. And wow, what a difference in baking results!

Linda McMahon?! It’s just keeping getting worse and worse with each announcement.

My thoughts exactly. As a local news and weather junkie, I hate this.

Oh, and also Ashley Korslien, who went on to become the Communications Manager for the Clark County Sheriff's Office
