This is me too. I read fast and for entertainment so I don’t tend to retain my memories of books unless it’s by one of my fave authors.

Former New Englander here…while I initially scoffed at snow removal efforts after moving here, I now fully agree that the hunker down approach is the best plan for PDX.

Also, completely agree with your baking tip. I always ignored this step but during the height of the pandemic, I started bringing eggs to room temp. And wow, what a difference in baking results!
