while ghost has a large library still, he also has a HUGE and well stocked drawing room with premium supplies. and soap spends HOURS drawing & painting everything. parts of the castle, the staff, the landscape, anything he can. ghost definitely steals a few pieces for his private collection too

i think instead of being obsessed with books soap is an aspiring artist and spends most of his days sketching people in the village. but when he draws ghost during his time in the castle, highlighting the beauty in his beast form, ghost feels his heart soften
