Foodie, geeky nerd, neurospicy, liberal Canadian just trying to get through the 2020's. #COVIDISAIRBORNE
"Sir, I have Long COVID, PEM, and Perimenopause, and ALL of those things have given me or pissed off all the OTHER things, so you can F-off. Any of those 'solutions' would tank my baseline 100%. "

Two weeks later I am STILL gobsmacked by the audacity!

I feel you - wish there was a solution 🫂

I had an allied service provider (don't want to be more detailed there) tell me that my 'ill-health' is because I've had the covid vaccines, and I 'eat non-paleo'. And if I ate more meat, no soy/grains, less veg and exercised vigorously I could stop my meds and my symptoms would be gone.

Same (the no MD. I'm hanging on by doing my own research, just keep checking off the days to weekends for rest, and apologizing to everyone who has to deal with me 😶 But it's a constant struggle (with other complex issues too) to even maintain any baseline of 'not bad'.

I feel lately like I'm a rusted-out junker on the side of the road that I'm pushing to a mechanic...who thinks it's all in my head...because woman parts. And everyone expects us to be at our peak, and I'm over here with my doors falling off and my tires flat and my muffler making a weird noise.

Impeachment hoax??? 😂That's a new one (or an old one, repeated).

They do know what the word hoax means, right? RIGHT??

Gah no! 😂 I love a quick pickled red onion with a light rice wine vinegar but ACV would be brutal lol. I mean to each their own and all that but also YIKES that's a pickle!

It's REALLY hard to find, that's the downside. But it's worth it if you find it.

I have apple cider vinegar, but I only use it in like 2 things because it's so THERE LOL.

Pear vinegar is amazing in squash-based soup/fall soups that are heavier in roots/tubers. It's more mellow than the apple cider, but with that fruitier edge than a white wine (which I love).

I really love using funky citrus instead of lemon especially with lighter soups. Makes them so bright.

Well I'm definitely going to try that now! Yum!

Ohhhhhhhhhh yummmmm!

My favourite to do in it are the frozen Costco bagels. Like the big case of par-baked ones - airfry on 320 for 8m and it's like a warm, freshly baked bagel hug!

I haven't tried doing eggs...interesting!!

Like so 😂

YES! $22.99 for 84 plain, $30ish for the blueberry and about that for the 'everything' bagels.

Frozen in a big box; they even come with bags to portion 6 in each bag.

Also have baguettes, the mini brioche buns and tuxedo cakes 😂. In bulk. Frozen. Lol

Mine is hiding in the cat tree 😂 It's got a 'cave' on the bottom level and she's small enough to just barely shove herself in there. She is NOT a fan of today between the power outage and the smoke alarm all of a sudden needing a battery, and now this!

He was SO good in Flashpoint. SO GOOD.

YES! That's so fascinating to dig into!

At times, there's a lot of traffic on Irving ships that don't have CDN registrations (cough cough Bermuda cough cough).

It's mostly bulk cargo, but when I started working with the data I was surprised with how many Irving/Irving connected ships aren't CDN-registered. I shouldn't have been lol
