Now I was not alive 150 years ago, that's when the Americans, at the time, wanted a Ballroom built. That was about the time Grant was in. I really don't remember that being a major topic, immediately after the Civil War. I have been around since 1953, don't remember anything about Ike asking.

Orange Julius really doesn't understand history, at all. The reason why Japan and Germany didn't have a military for many decades, because the rest of the world kicked their asses and told them no more military. The reason England is so far behind is during the same war. Their factories were gone.

Hey Orange Julius, SEALS only changed the name of the ALREADY existing Navy UDT ( they called them, Frogmen). They were highly used in WWII. My Dad was one of the original members, trained hand to hand by Pat Morita. Hope I spelt his name correct. Does anyone else remember Sea Hunt. Mike Nelson

Has anyone else thought about the fact that since the improvement of weather forecasting, The Devil's Triangle, hasn't claimed ships or planes. Just look at how quickly hurricanes pop up. The main reason for the disappearances.
