Congress has one job. To create a budget and pass it.
Amendment proposal: If Congress doesn't pass a budget and the government shuts down, everyone in Congress is prohibited from running in the next election and budgets are set at the previous year's amount plus 5%.

Anytime congress decides we need to pay for their raise, the minimum wage should be increased by the same percentage that the Congress critters are advocating for themselves.

We should set the current Minimum wage to $21.50. It isn't what the minimum wage should be but it is a good spot to start.
