He ought to concentrate on crime levels in the USA which are arguably higher than London. Washington DC isn’t exactly the safest city around. Besides the reality of crime in London is far different from his view.

I some how doubt that Pres Trump will take any action. He perceives that Putin is in a position of strength and he rarely takes decisive action against those who he perceives are strong.

This doesn’t bode well for any peace talks. Though it would appear that Russia doesn’t have the heft to conquer all of Ukraine.

You probably have a point, although let’s be honest it’s highly unlikely that any peace deal will be quick. I doubt that Russia are yet at the stage where this will happen. Certainly not happening if they maintain their current bargaining position, which is unrealistic.

Thats a valid point. I rather suspect that Trump will none the less encounter practical challenges with the implementation of his latest plan. He won’t be able to sign an Executive Order to get this done.

There will be much bluff and bluster from Putin on this. I think you’re right though, he will not likely do more than that. Sadly the missiles themselves will not win the war for Ukraine. They will help if the war continues for longer than anticipated.
