The Druid:

Even though they have antivaxxer vibes, druids would be decent parents, they're wise, they can heal, they have pets, etc...

Definetly likes their animal companion better than you.

The Champion:

Good intentions but very overprotective, thinks they're always right and worries too much. Moralistic and judgemental parent.

The Barbarian:

Has anger issues but can control them and never directs them towards you. You know they would do anything for you but you're terrified of ever making them angry

The Animist:

Someone who's always communing with spirits, the classic emotionally absent parent. Definetly likes their primary apparition better than you.

City of Mist by Son of Oak

Noir urban fantasy where people get powers from different myths and legends. PBTAish but not too much

What I don't like: If you thought people get decision paralysis building characters wait until you ask them to describe their powers in four short phrases.

Aquelarre by Nosolorol (Spanish ttrpg publishing monopoly yay)

The game that got me into ttrpgs, medieval historical Spain with all the folklore and witchery, CoC if you were playing as dirty 1300s Spaniards.

What I don't like: d100 system, if you're not trained in something you're horrible at it.

Hunter the Reckoning by World of Darkness

The sleek and improved 5e WoD mechanics with some of the best concepts and sauce of the setting imo, thank god hunters aren't God's strongest soldiers anymore

What I don't like: The book was rushed, doesn't have enough content player-wise

Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Soulbound by Cubicle 7 Entertainment

Outing myself as a Warhammer nerd with this game, it's great for one shots and for capturing the feel of being a mythic hero in AoS

What I don't like: Not great for campaigns, and also they could chill with the meta currencies a bit

Cultos Innombrables by Nosolorol

One of many amazing spanish ttrpgs, this game flips the cthulhu genre on its head by letting you play as the cultists instead of the investigators

What I don't like: The system has little dice variance and the stats on your sheet matter more (nerd complaint I know)

Paranoia XP by Mongoose Publishing

A hilarious game about being traitors in a futuristic complex run by an evil computer. This edition is actually from 2004, I gotta check out the last one from 2023

What I don't like: It will permanently change your players' brain chemistry (I actually love this)

Triangle Agency by Haunted Table Games

Live your corporate drone fantasies while you capture anomalies and experience some of the coolest and most unique graphic designs and advancement systems out there

What I don't like: A bit pricey imo and you must have a group who's down with weird games

Wilderfeast by @horribleguild.bsky.social

A delicious game about hunting monsters, cooking them and eating them to gain their abilities

What I don't like: With such stellar worldbuilding and monster design the bestiary and lore portions of the book are a bit small

Hypermall Unlimited Violence by @ratbastardgames.bsky.social

This gross violent meatpunk game about contract killing in a deathless dystopia is enragingly funny. Graphic design enjoyers be warned.

What I don't like: Too real, I play games to escape my Hamburger Artisan existence

FIST, by @claymorerpgs.bsky.social

Metal gear meets GI JOE in this OSR esque paranormal spec ops ttrpg, the writer sent me a free copy when I didnt have money to buy it and I'll forever be loyal to her

What I don't like: Nothing, go play FIST

Pathfinder 2e by Paizo

DnD if it was good. Everything you want from a crunchy tactical fantasy game, modernized and stylised and wonderfully designed and balanced

What I don't like: The community is full of minmaxers who will look at you weird for not taking Sentinel Dedication every build.

Symbaroum, by Free League Publishing.

A d20 dark fantasy game with a super cool setting, simple rules and free form character creation.

What I don't like: It's not super balanced and the community is obsessed with the one official campaign for some reason and won't play anything else.

Lancer, by Massif Press.

An amazing tactical game about mechs with an incredible setting. My personal favorite

What I don't like: The narrative rules are kinda half baked.
