Fresh off the hook. Janelle's head is about juvenile size, so it appears even wider than it is, though it is very wide. Pattern design is my own. Yarn is Caron Cinnamon Swirl Cakes: Tropical Breeze. I plan on making a half-width version for those who don't want so much coverage.

After multiple years of little to no trick or treaters, @charlesthegoblin.com and I decided to take the candy to the treaters. Spent an hour walking the neighborhood, surprising trick or treaters with candy and rubber ducks.

Fresh off the hook, moss stitch cowl, using Caron Cinnamon Swirl Cakes. Just testing if I like the design and colorway, so went with a small size. It goes over my head without issue, but I think in the future I'll make it a bit more roomy.

Today marks the launch of my business, Fray and Fancy (frayandfancy.com), featuring limited-run neckwear, accessories, and whimsical pieces. It's a soft launch with minimal products (easier to build). I will be adding inventory at least weekly. Follow my socials for announcements.

This happened so many times last night. I wasn't even getting up, just sitting my WIP in my lap to look up at the TV. I'd look back down and poof, it was gone.

What gets me is that they act like that trans people just appeared "suddenly" in the new millennium. I knew about Christine Jorgensen when I was growing up. She made headlines in 1952 for transitioning. And there have been others since then.

My first attempt at a retro Daisy Granny Square. Used a video tutorial by Adore Crea Crochet on YouTube. This is also my first attempt at blocking. I don't really know what I'm doing, so we shall see. #crochet #grannysquare

Saw this a few days ago. I'm not sure what they are carrying but I'm figuring this configuration is not legal. There was nothing holding down the bags that I could see and notice the bags hanging from the passenger side door.

Photos I took while trying in vain to get the shed open to get the shovel I had assumed was in the house. If you look closely at the snow block you can see the line when got freezing rain/sleet.

Need to remind myself that there no rule requiring you to crochet a certain kind of hat. While cute, I'm just going to give up on "cable knit" hats. They are way to slow to work up for my ADHD brain. I rather do a whole granny square blanket. It just feels faster. Here is a hat I did instead.

People still think that someone will fall for these posts (shakes head). Not only was it a comment on a post I commented on SIX YEARS AGO, but it also assumes everyone has a friend who is a General who randomly contacts them through comments on other people's posts.
