A two-person #ActuallyAutistic team, developing software to make life better for autistic people and their families. Find us online at fraut.co.uk and search for our app on Google Play (iOS version currently in development!).
We've been able to draw on experiences and advice from our brilliant autistic family and friends, and have developed our material based on feedback from parent focus groups. Our aim was to create a resource which promotes understanding and empowers parents to support their autistic kids. (3/4)

We've both watched other families struggle to access diagnosis and find support for their autistic kids - and between us we thought we might have the skills to do something to help. We've been working on fraut for a year, with encouragement from Tony's GP practice and our local Autism Hub. (2/4)

Ahead of the Android launch of the fraut app, here's a thread about who we are and why we made an autism support app.

🧵 We're Tony and Beth. When we're not developing software, we have other jobs - Tony is a GP and Beth is a lecturer. We're both autistic, with neurodivergent kids. (1/4)

Happy to be on Bluesky, and looking to follow #ActuallyAutistic people and organisations. We're keen to make our feed a neuro-affirming place to be!

We're grateful to our supporters in the North East of England, who've tried out the app, taken it home to their families, and sent us their feedback. We couldn't have done it without you!

After a year in development, the fraut app for parents and carers of autistic kids is almost ready for release!
We've received 5* feedback from all of our tester groups, so it's time for us to send fraut out into the world.
