I love talking about food.
- In the summer, a ripe tomato sandwich, sweet corn, and watermelon are a complete and amazing meal.
- Cooking with good dried beans is worth the effort.
- Sour beers are where it’s at. I’ll drink an IPA, but only after I’ve scanned the menu for sours.

A coyote with a poorly healed broken leg has been frequenting my front yard for two years now, and I wonder all the time what happened. She’s still incredibly fast on three good legs.
