I ended up saying hi to him and even took a couple of selfies with him. I did NOT tell him that I’d written an erotic story where a character inspired by him fucks the bear hero. And I certainly didn’t tell him that I’ve seen leaked video of him jerking off on webcam.

I recently returned home from an overseas trip, and when I was waiting in the security line at the airport for my flight home, I was surprised to find that a famous strongman who inspired a character in “Sloan Cosgrove 2, Confessions of a Middle-Aged Bear” was standing behind me in line!

Note: This series ended up being over 500 pages long and more than 200,000 words!

I had all this knowledge in the back of my mind when I got the idea to write an epilogue combining Sloan's 45th birthday, his and Bobby's wedding, and having sex with Gabe again. Making Gabe the wedding officiant was the final piece of the puzzle, and that's how this epilogue came to be.

My friend's daughter and her husband attended and where they got to know the real-life Gabe.

A guy she was friends with in college moved out to L.A. and became one of the real-life Gabe's best friends. When this guy friend ended up getting married, the real-life Gabe got ordained so that he could officiate the wedding.

We started discussing recent comedy and improv shows that I'd gone to, and I happened to mention that I'd seen an improv show with the comedian who inspired the character of Gabe. Turns out that my friend's daughter actually knows the real-life Gabe personally.

Then, late last year, I discovered a pretty incredible coincidence. I had dinner with the daughter of an old friend and her husband who were visiting Los Angeles.

I was dying to write another chapter where Sloan gets fucked by Gabe's massive dick again, so I decided that the only way to do that without breaking "canon" was to have it happen in an epilogue that takes place years after Sloan has finished telling the story of "Sloan Cosgrove 2."
December 13, 2024 at 7:46 PM
However, I also realized that I'd written myself into a corner by ending chapter 22 by stating that it was the last time Gabe fucked Sloan.

There was another reason for writing this epilogue, too. Towards the end of 2023, I realized that one of my favorite characters that I'd created was Sloan's best friend and roommate Gabe, who's based on a real-life comedian that I met once after an improv show over a decade ago.

I realized that it had taken me so long to write the series that Sloan's 45th birthday was coming up, and I began to wonder what Sloan would be doing on his 45th birthday, and then I came up with the idea of ending the series with Sloan and Bobby's wedding.

After I've spent a couple of years writing this series, I'll probably take a break from writing for a few months, but I'll post updates here. And as always, feel free to email me if you have any questions or comments.

Now that the stories have caught up to 2024, I hope to write occasional new installments whenever I get an idea or feel inspired to show what Sloan is up to in the present day.

Though this is the end of this series, I've decided that it's not going to be the end of the Sloan Cosgrove stories, and I'm not going to wait another 20 years to continue Sloan's adventures.

I was tickled by the irony that having Sloan and Bobby happily stuck together for months in their beautiful apartment was the most romantic ending I could come up with for the series.
December 13, 2024 at 7:38 PM
Originally, I thought the series would simply end with Sloan and Bobby embarking on their new life together, but late last year, I had the idea of jumping ahead a year in the story to April 2020 and the early, tumultuous weeks of the COVID lockdown in L.A.

I knew when I started outlining this series that it was all going to end with Sloan finally realizing that Bobby was the love of his life and asking him to leave Cicero and move to Los Angeles, mirroring the sad early chapter where Bobby begs Sloan to stay in Cicero.

The first Sloan Cosgrove series culminated in a massive locker room gang bang. I knew that I wanted this series to end on something more intimate and even romantic.

I know that most of you probably aren't reading this series for the actual plot, but I really did spend a lot of time working out the story in these last few chapters. These two Sloan Cosgrove series have covered more than 25 years in Sloan's life, and I wanted it to build to something.
