Yeah jace constantly being seen in a cynical/mean way by the general community is really tough and makes me sad too. Fucking sucks when the character you love is wildly hated for traits he doesn't even have, to the extent that some wotc staff seem to not respect him🫠🫠🫠

Now I'm scared for when we see reality fracture key art (even though I'd normally be looking at villain jace like 😳) bc I feel like it'll be ooc in the way that the general mtg player base has been acusing him of being for years and that makes me sad :(

Feels like a lot of the interesting complexities of his mental state have been lost in favor of making him more flatly"evil". And vraska and loot have been treated badly too imo

I definitely am more scared than excited rn. On paper I'm so here for villain jace and the set up was so good but the execution has been mixed-to-negative so far imo. I feel bad critiquing it bc ik the team cares and a number of the beats are good but the offscreen ramp-up and ooc moments make me 😢

I know it's gonna get worse before it gets better and I am very scared. Angst is tasty but I can only take it in moderation and I've not been fond of some recent story choices. I want him and vraska to sail off into the sunset and heal and be at peace 😤😤😤

I love it!!! The particular shades of their colours that you chose look so harmonious and tasty and I really like the lighter lineart that looks glowy/shiny! The textures are lovely too! Congrats on finishing such a big piece, ik first hand how draining it can be to work on smth that long 😅
