Mangelwurzel uses a dreamstaff as a weapon, channeling her magic through it. Easter egg: Mangelwurzel does not know much about the quori, but she thinks that when she lucid dreams she might catch something's attention. She tries to avoid spells that deal with sleep and dreaming if she can to not bring unwanted attention to herself in the waking world.

Mangelwurzel is from Grellreach. Her mothers belong to the Pin Gaalac Ghaal'dar clan in the Northeast, but moved to the village to raise a family. Mangelwurzel has spent much of her life along the Torlaac River. (🥚alt)

Easter egg: Mangelwurzel's mother Doraakur once belonged to a Ghaal'dar clan called Kaga Vorg'hesh- Three Barghests- the clan was scattered and mostly eliminated during the uprising of Darguun. Kaga Vorg'hesh were not supporters of Haruuc, and those who did not fall during the rebellion were quelled by Rhukaan Taash. Doraakur survived by swearing fealty to the Pin Gaalac (the Bristle Boars) clan- where she met her future wife Tuuskazoar.

Mangelwurzel and her cousin Neep are very close and grew up together. They are more like siblings, and spent many moments in their youth exploring places scarcely touched by the War, especially within Darguun.

Mangelwurzel points out something on the horizon and then takes advantage of her cousin being distracted by stealing bites of his food. Easter egg: One of Mangelwurzel's mothers- Doraakur, is the sister of Neep's father Gool'te. Neep does not know his father, but was told of his relation to Mangelwurzel by Sora Esma. The pair were raised together as often as time and travel permitted. Mangelwurzel is a few years younger than Neep, but she acts more like an older sister to him. She is very protective of Neep, which of course she displays by bullying him.

Easter egg: Mangelwurzel has tapped into sources she cannot control at times, dark power from the Dragon Below or glimpses of spells she has pulled from the spaces between dreams. Her curiosity often wins out over her fear or hesitation.
