Yes, you make a good point. Nonetheless, "losing" those things (and the substantial discount on fees) will be weaponised as grievances in a new referendum. It'll be made out to be EU punishing us rather than just following the rules 😭

While I fervently want to rejoin, I think that once the conditions of re-entry are explained to people, it won't get a majority.
Adopting the Euro, much higher membership fees etc.
UK had a sweet deal and we ain't getting that back 😭
