This isn’t a playoff forward group. If Monohan was healthy maybe it would be different. This team is too inexperienced and not talented enough yet.

Last night the #CBJ dogged a bullet when the Red Wings last second shot was less than a half second too late to push their game with the Senators to overtime.

I had to go back and check, the puck was still on his stick at zero so even by basketball rules it wouldn’t have counted.

Looking at this lineup I am more convinced that Mittelstadt would be an awesome fit with the #CBJ. Imagine him centering this second line and how good we are if we can drop Boone to the third.

It was a missed call but making it a conspiracy is silly. Watching it in real time from roughly the refs perspective it is easy to see how the ref might have thought the defender grabbed Danforth’s stick.

I have been loudly saying the #CBJ should move on from Elvis but if the Elvis that has show up over the last couple months sticks around I am happy for him to have shut me up.
