On 22 July, 1796, the British sent Jamaican #Maroons to Nova Scotia. The Maroons were escaped slaves who were brought to Jamaica by the Spanish and the British to work the sugar cane plantations.

As of 15 July, 2025, at least 875 Palestinians have been killed while trying to get food. 674 were near aid distribution sites operated by the #GazaHumanitarianFoundation, a U.S.-Israeli-org. 201 victims were killed while seeking food on the routes of aid convoys. Another 20+ were killed today.
