A bit stunned when this Bridled Tern appear in my ‘scope 150m infront of the hide at Fife Ness. It then hung around for 3 hours roosting on a buoy and feeding inshore (when pic taken) before heading off NE. A first for Fife. Glad we chose today for the all day seawatch! #birdingFife #rarebirdsUK

Great morn, looking/surveying a local spot for Jacksnipe..finding 7 via Thermal Imaging. Super/mysterious Birds that have the ability to avoid the general Birding radar most of the time. Photo recorded at a respectful distance with a 1260mm lens & cropped. Also 23 Common Snipe.👌🏻 #birds #ukbirding 🪶

With passage seemingly over here @Ottenby, 55 Jacks ringed (25 MOTUS) has been the best Autumn on record. Undoubtedly boosted by thermal tech, catching these gems during the day will never get old.
