I grew up in Oak Park Illinois and moved to LA in 1979 to work for Walt Disney Imagineering which I did for 41 years until spring of 2020.
When you are asked what DCA stands for and of course you say Disney’s California Adventure, think again! It also stands for Disney Commuter Assistance! Yet another free handout of this smart cooler bag from many years ago. I saw it just now next to my desk so I guess we are still using it.

Happy 626 day! I was having lunch yesterday with a fellow Imagineer at the Imagineering/Consumer Products Campus in Glendale. As we walked to the cafeteria in the “GC3” campus for Consumer Products, there was Stitch. These seemingly small things throughout the year add to the joy of working here.

OK I am just having fun now. Longer version of my boring fake lecture. Gentleman in the front row has some reaction to this gibberish. I have no idea what I am saying...

Here is the first part of the source video of a demo we did for various Imagineers. The premise was I was giving a boring lecture then OMG the Big Dino knocks down the wall and starts for the people. It walked so slow, this was the creative way we thought to make an impact on those in attendance.

Lucky the Dinosaur was a world traveler starting at Disney's California Adventure in 2003 and in 2005 visited Animal Kingdom. Here is his pin commemorating his visit. I include a picture loading Lucky on the truck at Imagineering for his trip to Florida. Note his decorations changed before opening.

Printed a picture of the sunset and my printer needed its head cleaned and aligned. The green lines were printed in error but makes it look like a laser lightshow at EPCOT.

Is it politically Okay to miss Splash Mountain? I worked on Walt Disney World's opening and rode it many times and enjoyed it each time. Riding it with only like four boats on the whole attraction so no one else was around you made it even more wonderful as it was all just for you!

OK I am trying out Blue Sky as an alternative to Twitter. My first post is a picture of some complimentary Disneyland tickets I still have in a box. Back in the 1980's when there where tickets, employees could get these complimentary tickets to enter the park and ride any A through E attractions.
