I worked at Coors Porcelain for a time while in college. Seemed like decent folks. Of course some of the Coors family got embroiled in conservative politics, but I believe they were civil, decent people -- unlike what we see today.

I live in Italy. The procurators trying to make a name for themselves were not so much misogynist as plain ole lurid, creepy, ignorant Italians. In addition to the millenia of buildings, inbreeding has been going on for a long time as well. Just plain stoopid is another explanation.
