Anyways I’m far from perfect. My art is far from perfect. Just tryna remind myself not to lose sight of what it should all be about.

Perfect is timeless but we are not. And yet a person can be perfect to you, no matter what. Love your art. Spend time with it. Maybe then you’ll realize what’s missing, and when to let something be perfect, accepting it for what it is and how much it means to you.

To me perfectionism needs obtainable goals and a specific timeline. Otherwise you’re chasing the destination without ever considering the journey. Perfect recipe for getting lost. I see this a lot, personally and from listening to other artists.

Science says we were made by chance and circumstance, to do nothing but live, eat, and pass on our DNA. The first human to spend time making art instead of just exist in survival mode surely rebelled against the natural order.

Pretty much why BOTW was such a flex… the devs put the realism into the actual gameplay, and proved again that good art style is timeless.
