@hakeemjeffries.bsky.social was on the view and would not address the racism and sexism that played a huge role in this election. We need leaders who are going to be honest about the state of our nation. Not pivoting when asked a questions about race and misogyny that needed a honest answer.

Saying you’ll remain friends with people who voted for a campaign of sexism, white supremacy, and homophobia is a privilege. For many of us, this is not just a fundamental difference in political ideology but also the validity of our humanity.
