I couldn’t get to sleep last night because I realized that Trump and his administration are the worst thing that has happened to America in my lifetime. I was born in 1949.

. But, what truly frightens me is the removal of the three Military JAGs. These are the people who have the independent legal authority to tell any military commander that an order from the President or the Secretary of Defense is unlawful and cannot be obeyed. Why are they being replaced?

Jim Slife and Lisa Franchetti are also extremely capable and professional officers that I know well, deeply admire, and who have served for decades with honor and distinction. Their removal is foolish and a disgrace.

In my entire 55 years of working in national security, in many capacities, I have never known a steadier, wiser and more professional, patriotic, or honorable officer than CQ Brown. He has been an exceptional CSAF and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs.
