I would bet that’s true of any population, even most families. The preference to have a set of rules to follow rather than the freedom, and responsibility, to make choices for oneself.

We’re not respected we’re feared because of a president who is so unpredictable that he could blame the cost of tampons on another country without any evidence, surround them with battleships & bring everyone to the brink of war on a whim

The people who didn’t vote are the most guilty. The ones who voted FOR Trump were delude by him or themselves, but the ones who didn’t vote could have prevented what’s happening now but chose to stay home, not because of any belief but due to indifference.

The scariest part is that his sycophants are ok with this. This is dictator 101! Trump Shutting down newspapers and networks for saying negative things about him? How are people not appalled by this?

A lot of great actors are really only great at specific types of roles. Humphrey Bogart, James Cagney, DeNiro. It’s a small few like Daniel Daylewis, & the character actors who can become different people and play many different roles like David Strathairn or Anne Dowd

Very atypical. Usually it’s young people who complain about sitting through a long movie and is trying to get them through. It took me years to get my son (22) to watch the godfather

Additionally the GOP is to blame. Everyone has to get car insurance not just bad drivers. Insurance works like a bank the balance of sick people & healthy people keep rates down. When GOP removed the ACA mandate they were basically saying the pool would only be sick people which made the rates soar

The GOP answer is always free market but without regulation there is a % of the population who can’t afford it. That’s ok if it’s 4KTV but not if it’s life saving surgery. That’s the whole deal with block grants, health accts,etc. We’ll give you X dollars-you make it work. We’re not responsible

I’d love to say this is revelatory but it was started in 1980 when Reagan’s campaign strategy was to attach himself to guys like Falwell. Ever since the GOP has been “the party of God”. Back then they ignored AIDS & let people die bc they “deserved it”. Now “people of God” support an adulterer

I disagree. Always felt like the Hall is for fans & they should get to see their favorites & relive the memories.
MLB should allow them in but put it on the plaque & ban the player from mlb for life. And I hated Pete Rose as a fan. At least his stats are legit, PEDs left actual achievements in doubt
