Yeah... I am super lucky to have a good local community of friends, but it takes effort to be part of that! Worth it, but exhausting. I haven't drawn for myself in a month. If anybody figures out how to balance all this and a day job, that would be the holy grail of info.

I much prefer to draw with more of a white noise background for similar reasons. It's very sad we always have to compromise.

Online friendships where you can hang out on the phone while you draw basically. Currently haven't drawn anything in a while because my irl friends have needed me. It's a blessing but also leaves me no personal time because of my day job. Basically- I feel ya.
