went looking somewhere we weren't meant to see. we werent meant to stay that long playing that game or go to areas that werent intended for us.. could FRIEND be the perfect example of a creepypasta or an that theres something more we're overlooking.. honestly,
i feel like i am going in circles (5/5)

makes it look exactly like the health bar. this immediately made me think that FRIEND might've have a connection to the player as well, like:
FRIEND shows up in a in-universe video game, this isnt the first time it has occured. it always happen if the player of the game (us, Noelle or Kris) (4/5)

FRIENDS's yellow color in that sprite is the safe and health bar, so things that are important for the player to proceed, yet why is its other eye the same color of the one instant that damage lingers in UT, it's not just that but making the left eye yellow instead of pink, (3/5)

as Pastra had explained in their video:
in one of the different sprites of FRIEND his usually soft pink and yellow are replaced with gold and magenta.
once it was pointed out that the magenta was the exact same as the slow damage affect in sans's boss battle, it kinda kept bothering me (2/5)

he's willing to let a man, one he once trained alongside with, believe his family was at stake if he didnt do what HE wanted. it always intrigued me since it shows an side to Wesker often forgotten: his determination and selfishness.

its why i love that scene dearly and his death satisfying.

Wesker is apart of Umbrella, with his own involvement and plans, hes the one with Bravo team's blood on his hands.

while yes, Rebecca getting shot by Wesker is genuinely horrible (poor girl), its that i find him using Barry Burton selfishly, shows how far hes willing to go for his own goals.

Then (finally) why do i like the confrontation/pre tyrant scene so much (and why specifically Jill's)?:

The scene gets across who Albert Wesker truly is.

from the moment we see him again in the lab, that is not the captain Chris/Jill once respected. thats an madman behind all of this.

but none of that proves that Wesker's connection,
its our own discovery: when we flicked through those images on the projector only to be met with Wesker right on there, clear as day.

just imagine how Jill and Chris had to take that in, finding out your dear captain is not who he says he is.

as you're stuck there, there are clues and hints to something more sinister.

mentions of there being an Umbrella scientist with sunglasses, Wesker constantly popping in and out the area and his persistence on splitting up while you damn well know its much better to stay together.

His connection to both Jill and Chris while also being one of the survivors in the same boat as them
(Jill with Barry, Chris with Jill).

Wesker is introduced as important but also as trustworthy.
yet once you actually get to explore the mansion, there are already cracks in his lies

even once everything turns for the worst, Wesker remains helpful, and most importantly: a figure of leadership.

to any person who didnt know the story prior: Wesker just seemed to be the captain who you could've relied on, even when he got suspicious in further points of the game.

there is not only more detail but also importance highlighted to the characters we'll interact and deal with during the gameplay:

here is where Wesker works perfectly as an twist-villain.

the first time we ever see him, hes depicted as an ally, leading the search for Team Bravo.

while the remake has its flaws: it has also genuinely lived up as the definitive remaster for the original Resident Evil (1996).

the story, gameplay and overal quality had been brought to a new high for the franchise (even for its time)

especially with the characters (interaction scene's)
