It is wonderful to attend The Teachers’ Guild of NSW Annual Dinner and Presentation of Awards this evening. The event is a great opportunity to celebrate excellence in education and to catch up with colleagues and friends from across the teaching profession.

It was a pleasure to welcome Dr. Michael Bezzina to St John XXIII Catholic College today. We had the opportunity to engage in a rich discussion about contemporary learning and innovation, and to explore some exciting opportunities for collaboration in 2026.

Great to spend the last two days at the K–12 Catholic Schools NSW Curriculum Reform Conference, and to deliver the closing remarks and farewell. A strong reminder that we move forward best when we move together. Congrats to the CSNSW staff on organising a high quality Conference.

It was a pleasure to welcome Fr Anthony Casamento CSMA as keynote speaker at our Staff Spirituality Day on Living the Charism of St John XXIII. Colleagues enriched the day with sessions, and we concluded with a beautiful Mass with Fr Jolly Chacko MS & Fr Anthony.

The new pope, Pope Leo XIV, previously known - Robert Francis Prevost OSA - shaped by his life as an Augustinian friar, brings to the Church a deep commitment to wisdom, community, and humble service.

Privileged to present a breakfast seminar on “Time Management within a Faith Dimension” this morning, hosted by the Catholic Men’s Fellowship at St. Joseph’s Parish, Enfield. The gathering concluded with Mass and Adoration of the Eucharist. Thanks to the organisers for the invitation.

Attended the Sydney Morning Herald Schools Summit at the International Convention Centre, Sydney today. A multitude of worthy ideas highlighted by various presenters relevant to improving student outcomes. It was great to catch up with many colleagues and friends during the event.

Very enjoyable to catch up with my long time mates, Executive Chairman of the Doltone House Group, Paul Signorelli, and his cousin, Paul Signorelli, at the Doltone House Head Office today. The office was most impressive along with the vegetable garden and parrots.
