There are now instructions how to clean your phone before entering the US or advice to get a 'new dumb phone' for the US. Why does this remind me of Germany in the 1930ies? Needless to say, after this post, I won't attempt to travel to the US.

Was planning to visit the US again in August.
The German Foreign Ministry has now travel advice for the US to avoid being detained, jailed and extradition as has happened to 4 Germans so far.
