It's too bad we can't trade meme packets with each other. Or have something like a Briggs/Myers, but one that would identify meme styles and cultural semiotics. Like "I'm a caturday/rickroll with Breakfast Club rising. "

And in America during the Civil War. Standardization of parts and assembly line manufacturing was perfected then, leading directly to the U.S. arms industry and the mass manufactured watch industry.

The Alex P. Keaton guys will always end up on the side of freedom, justice and the American way. Eventually.

Sorry to be a sour puss, but it doesn't matter. They're going to vote for Jill Stein.

It's chum. As soon as you start doing dollar/cost analysis you're in the weeds of an "actual" PR campaign.

Some of them might be innately stupid. Haven't we always been subject to campaigns/norms/etc. to make us more likely to serve the interests of those in power?

Unfortunately Leo reportedly didn't say this.

Just FYI, I like your books so much, or love them so much, because I can easily pretend that Heinlein wrote them.

Last week I asked a 20-year old what their favorite book was, and they said 'The Secret History' by Donna Tartt. Intrigued that someone who was 20 would even like a book from 1992 I checked it out. It's a great book! Not disagreeing with you, just an anecdote.

Like with elves and dwarves? With magic and kobolds and wyverns and dragons? And swords? Lots of swords?!

You're punching waaaayyy above your weight there with that Krissy. Just thought I should let you know. Treat her good! Also, thanks for your latest book. It was really enjoyable and a good break from doom scrolling. Probably neuro-protective.

I might be for equal opportunity in housing, jobs and employment for the disabled, and yet if I don't like alt text I'm against disabled people. Fascinating.

It's not necessarily a screenshot of text. It could be a picture of a forest populated with slithy toves.

But I'm not writing descriptions of what a human thinks an image represents.

I understood that the alt text facilitated the training. I could be misinformed.

He's lying. I guess that's the joke. Unfunny, but does a joke really require humor? In the eyes of the beholder and all that, but seriously. 86 47 lol/jfk-roflcopterbbq.

I had a website called The Magic Dojo back in '97 and helped popularize the theory behind the mana curve. Kind of the direct predecessor to the mana-to-damage calculation. And yes, thrull decks were a certain kind of cool.

It's true, and yet, what if you're against doing free AI training?
September 21, 2025 at 5:48 AM
That's a bunch of BS.
